Complicated: The Concert on July 19, 2-4 p.m.

On July 19, catch the REPEAT CONCERT OF VIVA VOCE for Complicated exhibit! Viva Voce, a group that trains and supports talented classical singers, will perform 15 songs inspired by the artworks in the exhibition Complicated.

Led by their musical director, soprano Camille Lopez-Molina, 10 performers will be singing songs from operas by Verdi, Mozart, Gounod, and Bizet. They will also perform kundiman and sarswela by Filipino composers Lucio San Pedro, Severino Reyes, and Julian Celis Balita.

The concert is from 2 to 4pm and costs P300 per person (P270 for students and museum members). The fee includes admission to the current exhibition Complicated.

Complicated exhibit features the commissioned works by guest artists Mike Adrao, Leslie de Chavez, and Ea Torrado along with works from the museum’s collection by Juvenal Sanso, Bencab, and Ang Kiukok. Complicated will run until August 2, 2014. It is presented with support from Tin-aw Art Gallery. This concert is presented with support from Gourmet Farms, Inc.

Lopez Museum and Library is at the ground floor of Benpres Building, Exchange Road corner Meralco Avenue, Pasig City. Museum days and hours are Monday-Saturday, 8am to 5 pm, except holidays. For more information, call Tina at 631-2417.
