We greet our Muslim countrymen in their celebration of Eid al-Adha, the Feast of the Sacrifice marking the end of the annual Hajj to Mecca. The festival commemorates Ibrahim (Abraham)'s willingness to sacrifice his young first-born and only son in obedience of a command from God.
The Lopez Museum and Library is closed today for the holiday.
