HAPPY EASTER!

Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo’s 1884 Las Jovenes Cristianas depicts faith in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the bedrock of Christianity. In this preparatory sketch, the Christian youths and virgins are exposed and rounded up by the Roman populace, but with their outstretched hands they proclaim the faith and stand witness to eventual martyrdom.
