Articles of Disagreements will end its exhibition run on. Curated by Planting Rice (Lian Ladia and Sidd Perez), the exhibition was borne out of the immense collection of Filipiniana materials and visual works from the Lopez Museum and Library.
The exhibition was opened to the public last September and has since then showcased snippets from Philippine art history that speak of the struggles and triumphs of the art community. It brings together works by Tito and Tita (filmmakers’ collective), conceptual artist-curator Nilo Ilarde, Germany-based artist Maria Cruz, and 2013 Ateneo Art Awardee Buen Calubayan with materials from the archives, along with works by Raymundo Albano, Fernando Zobel, Nena Saguil, Roberto Chabet and masters Juan Luna and Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo from the permanent collection.
The Lopez Museum and Library is at the ground floor, Benpres Building, Exchange Road corner Meralco Avenue, Pasig City. Museum days and hours are Mondays to Saturdays, except holidays, 8am to 5pm. For inquiries, call Tina Modrigo at 631-2417.
